Hosted by our oyster specialist, this tour explores the production techniques used to grow Melshell Oysters.

 Discover the secrets of how their oysters are grown. 

It takes 2 years to grow from 4mm seed  to 70mm harvest size, we will discuss the  many steps taken to get the oyster in tip top condition. 


This on shore tour takes you into the workings of our farm , equipment used, grading techniques and tells you all the production secrets of our farm. 


 Overlooking our oyster farm you will enjoy water views as you slurp your own 1/2 dozen oysters and glass of Tasmanian beverage of your choice.


$60 per person ~ 45 minutes

 We will be seated at our waterfront shell garden overlooking our oyster farm in the Swan River.  Our oyster specialist will show you how to open an oyster (shuck) and chat to you about how we grow the oyster. Then you will enjoy a seafood lunch harvested directly from our farm to your plate including: 

6 Melshell Oysters

 Melshell Mussels 

Pickled Octopu Salad.

Prawn Skewer or 

Oyster and Bacon Skewer or

Scallop and bacon Skewer



$75 per person - 1.5 hours
